Join us on August 23, 2014 in Princeton, NJ for our Family Volunteering Event! Located next to the Princeton Public Library in the Albert Hinds Community Plaza

 

We have some exciting activites planned:

 

1.  Games - Try your hand at popular children games played around the world

2.  Storytelling & Puppet Show - Reading popular children's stories from different places

3.  Enjoy some music - Showcasing children's tunes from various regions

4   Sample small snacks/baked goods from different countries 

 

There will also be several tables:

 

1. Arts and Crafts where children can write letters and draw/color pictures/decorate shipping boxes to send to various orphanages around the world.

2. Get to Know Us Table  - Where the public can get more information on the various orphanages/organizations as well as the culture and regions.

3. Cleaning & Packaging station – where kids can clean gently used toys and package them for shipping.

4. Meet ‘ClareBear’ teddy bear for kids to sign her diary before she travels to the organizations oversees

Feel free to let your child bring a gently used toy, clothes or art supplies to donate.

 

We will update everyone as soon as we have finalized all the details.
